Ratings and frustration !!!

Lately we have had 2 people with less than 5 feedback rating not pay after the auctions. One was for a considerable amount. Does this frustrate anyone besides me? I always feel like ebay could do more to help their sellers. It always seems they error on the side of helping the buyers when they are ripped off, but not vice versa.

I hate when that happens. This is my only income, so a non-payer could mean a hard time paying a bill. It isn't always newbies though. I've had people with hundreds-thousands of feedback never pay. I don't feel like chasing people down, so I just move on and sell it to the next person. Make sure you are filing a non-paying bidder report against them to get your fees back.

I sell a lot of seeds during the spring & summer on ebay. At any given time 75 people owe. I don't care when they pay as long as it is within 29 days so I can file the fees. You can put restrictions on your items such as buyer requirements. I will not sell to anyone who has a -1 or lower feedback for obvious reasons. It isn't frustrating because there is a steady stream of funds coming into my account so I don't have to count on 1 or 2 not paying. However if I sold very few items at a higher amount because I needed the money it would upset me.

There is a way to report them if they don't pay. I think eBay would do SOMETHING...
