Mothers' Day here in the Philippines is celebrated every 2nd week of May. Incidentally, my mum's birthday also falls on the month of May. I dont have anything planned yet for this year, but last year, I had my Mothers' day greeting for my mum published in our local newspaper..

Us mothers here in the US have to wait until May 13th. It's usually pretty "springy" here by then.

I think Mothers' Day still need 2 more months for Singapore. :P
Anyway, I usually just bring my Mum for a nice dinner. Her birthday is in the same month so I would just combine the 2 gifts into 1. Haha. :-)

Here in canada,Mother'd Day is held in May.I will go to my mother's grave to pay my respects.
Point of interest is that in Russia,Mother's Day is the second most popular day of their year!

I'm going to visit my daugher in Tipperary. The St Patrick's Day Parade is being held there on Sunday and my little grandaughter will be in it. After the parade we are all going to have dinner in a hotel and we will have a bit of a party later that night.
