Do you remember this guy?

Who remembers this guy? I usually watch his show when I was a kid and I even sometimes watch him when I get the chance. He passed away a couple of years ago but I will always remember his image and character.:)

-lol- i do remember the guy, alexis from shaider and his partner annie. i was able to watch both the english and filipino dubbed versions. it has been decades since. it's a little sad to know he has passed away. i didn't know that.

You've seen an english dubbed version? I only saw the filipino dubbed and the original japanese. Heck, I liked Alexis (Dai) better when he's speaking in Filipino. Hehehe.

This guy is space sheriff shaider (uchu keiji shaidaa) played by Hiroshi Tsuburaya. He's a metal hero from Japan oddly famous in the Philippines. The shaider series was repackaged as VR Troopers in the US.

Same here....I remember Hiroshi-san as Sawamura Dai. I also heard about his passing. We'll all remember him as the Space Sheriff that we kids looked up years ago when we were kids.
