Increase the myLot earning! I think I am on to something

Yes, I believe that tagging your responses is an important feature of mylot and I think that you do earn more by contributing to this feature. I always tag because it also helps to keep the site more organized and gives us all another way to search things. I am glad it is working for you !

On the weekend I will try a test again.. I will do 100 posts in one day, start some discussions and upload some pictures..........AND enter key words every time. That is about what I did one day last weekend without keywords, so I will see if it makes a big difference. Last week it paid $2.47......So next time if it is over $3.00 for example when I use keywords, then you are on to something.

i've been using tags in all of my discussions, but lately, i haven't been earning as much as i expected. has mylot changed the earnings algorithm again? my rating has not changed --- i still have 10 stars, and to my knowledge, i am responding quite well to the discussions, and still, i'm earning just cents. sometimes, that depresses me, but then i remind myself, that i'm here more to learn and share what i know.

I hope I am not wrong that tagging our responses may have certain effect on our daily earnings. Yesterday, I tried an old method and I think it still works very much. I stopped responding too many posts but instead I used longer sentences as well as more sentences. Without many responses, I think I did about 15 only and I received $0.61. It seems easy and without any stress at all. Why don't all of you try it and confirm if my analysis is right. After all, sacrificing one day to test it out may turn out good. Then, you do not have to post hundreds of posts daily and received a miserable earning for that day.

Its a well known fact that adding keywords actually increase your earnings especially when you are starting a discussion because people are more likely to find you discussion when you add ketwords because it is put with others with those keywords... like... if you look at the bottom of this page there are a few... look at their keywords... some of them will be the same as those for this one... its the same when responding... if you add keywords to it more people will be able to find it therefore you are helping the great circle we call mylot lol... congrats on your earnings going up... remember other ways to earn are: LONG EXPLANITORY (no rambling) responses - you can get from 1 cent to 3 cents for a good response 10 RESPONSES to a discussion you started gets you a cent ADDING KEYWORDS (well you know that one lol) BEING GIVEN BEST RESPONSES (not much of a payment but more than your usual just a reply) DONT REPLY TO SPAM - if you see a discussion which looks like spam dont reply because at pay day this discussion will be deleted and your earnings go down... just report it HAPPY MYLOTTING!!!

You know I always skip that tag part but I will really try to take your advice and see if it makes a difference. I always helps to find ways to make more and really we need to tag discussions better.

By keywords, do you mean tags? Are you saying that you use them in responses? Do you remember when we had blue words show in our discussions? I always tried to use those, and I know I made more money then. I think it is the same. I am game to try as well, as I have been trying to figure out why some days I earn SOOO much better than others. Thanks for the idea.

I tried the same thing for a couple of days and did nothing else different and it did not affect my earnings. So I am not sure what the deal is. Might depend on the algorythm thingy. Wish we could find out what does pay even if not what does pay in any amount.

I've tagged then not tagged. I didn't see any real significant change in my pay rate those times I didn't. But I still tag about %90 of the time. Thanks and hope ya make more either way you go about it. Not cheating though. LOL HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

I started off tagging all my responses, because I figured that was what was expected by myLot. Then I read in someone else's post that the tags were to be placed only by the discussion originator. What confuses me is why myLot keeps their earning program a secret from the users. In my opinion, everyone would be better served if we knew exactly what was expected of us. I have read through all of the previous responses, and it seems that no one really understands what they should be doing, which I think is very inefficient.

Thanks, I think I usually do use the key words maybe I will use more then one or two and see if that works. I have tried everything. I dont have as much time to dedicate to this as some people. I tried to do it from work but it gets too busy and I am not able to. Thanks for the tip though. I will use keywords everytime now. Cant hurt.

I have always filled out the keywords, except for a couple of days I was just tired of it and I noticed a difference in my earning as well. I think it does make a difference.

Totally agreed with you, tagging plays a very important role in earning. I either tried using tags when I respond to any discussion and what I observe is I got more money for tagging in discussions and I observe it a month back so now I am earning good enough :) And I am satisfied with myLot people used to blame myLot that it pays very low but they don't see what they are mistaking for earn good. how many tags do u add in a single response?

Hi, Thankyou for the discussions , I do tag discussion but not every one was tagged if I dont ahve any words I did used the skip. But today from another discusion I learned that tagging is god for earning so I started to tag compulsory all discussions. with related keywords.Thankyou very much and happy earning

It's difficult to know how effective adding the keywords will improve your earnings. I think they are important but it surely must be the quality of your discussions and responses that determine your earnings the most.
