Day 4: Made to last Forever God has planted eternity in the human heart. Ecclesiates 3:11 Surely God would have created such a being a man to exist only for a day! When you fully comprehend that there is more to life than just here and now, and you realize that life is just a preparation for eternity, you will begin to live differently. Values change- Paul said " Once I though all these things were so very importnat, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. " Philippinas 3:7 Every act of our lives strikes some chord that will vibrate in eternity. My Reflection: Question: Since I was made to last forever, what is one thing taht I should stop doing and the one thing that I should start doing today? The one thing that I should stop doing are my bad habits and bad attitudes. Specically, my mouth...A closer look on my attitude would be more of a happier me. Trying to overcome the snares of the enemy. Its my struggle eveytime I open my mouth. I offer this weakness to God. I know sometimes I may not mean the things I say, i know some are hurt, some feel ofended. It seems as though Im so frank that I tend to say things so bluntly. And often I always have to say something negative or I have to crtiticize which I have realized- its not a pleasant attitude. And one thing that I should start doing is to keep quite if dont have anything constructive to say to other people, and as much as possible I should learn to appreciate and see the positive side of things that I see around me. Its a constant sruggle to reveal the new me, though its never easy but I will try to reveal the new me. For anyone who is in Christ is anew creation the old has gone and the new has come.
