Why do young men prefer mature women?

I personally think it's just wrong. It's ageism and stereotyping. It leaves young women with admirable qualities alone and single while the cougars are getting all the good-quality, well-behaved men. It's unfair.

"some" men prefer mature women because of financial reasons.. they just want financial support.. they think that they will be able to get their material needs through mature women. and of course there are few who actually fall in love with mature women,, because of the reason that most mature women are loyal and more experienced in the field of romance..

Well my opinion on men dating older women is the same as it is for women dating older men. As long as both people are in the relationship for the right reasons, I think it's great. I can understand anyone wanting to date someone that's a little older, as older people are more likely to be set in their lives and actually mature enough to be in a faithful relationship which are two important factors.

It seems to be a trend,I honestly don't understand it. We have two marriages in our family that the two inlaws (women) are older by about 10-12 years.

well i have also noticed that guys do get attracted towards older women ..well infact one of my guy friend was also telling me this ..well i think they find them more mature and exprienced ..that is why young men pefer mature women ..

I believe that is Oedipus complex. Because they were with their mothers for so long, that's apparent their mothers left a very profound impression. That's the same reason why we women prefer mature men.

It can be for a variety of reasons. I know someone who dated older women because he was looking for a mother figure and that person provided him guidance he didn't get at home, some figure that older women will give it up more easily in the bedroom, they are more experienced both sexually and otherwise.

In India it does not happen. Men and women prefer partners of same age group.
