Have you ever been "stalked"?!?

Have you guys ever experienced being stalked by another person? I have this experience back in college when someone was stalking me. She was supposedly having a crush on me. That was fine, but later on, she kept on sending text messages to me up to a gazillion times a day to the point that my inbox gets full; I couldn't receive the important messages then. She would also write letters (via snail mail) which fills up my mailbolx every week. She also calls me everyday through my cellphone. And she always says that she loves and even wants to bear a child for me even if I don't get married or I don't love her back! Good thing she didn't threaten me at gunpoint! Since I was still studying during the time, I was not only annoyed, but rather shocked and disturbed. I gave her a few words and she (hopefully) understood that its going to get too complicated if she gets what she wants; I haven't heard from her from this day. I may not have been stalked. But it was something out of the ordinary. Have you guys had a similar experience?

Recalling recent news from the Philippines, wherein the actor/singer Janno Gibbs' stalker was arrested because she started to text threats to him and his family, up to 80+ texts a day! Yes, I experienced being stalked only recently, but I guess this is just the mild text version. A guy I have been working with, a different nationality, is coincidentally living on the same building as I am. I just starting coordinating with him last January, and being chatty, he became a friend. Maybe for around a month, he continually texts me asking me on where I am, if I am already in the building, what I am watching, doing, do I cook, and so forth. Being a friendly person, I usually text back answering some of the questions. But later on, he would text me 11 evening, if I am bored, what I am doing, if I have already eaten, and even inviting me to his room!!! I stopped answering back then. He would now YMing me, asking if I am angry or anything. I am working with him still as of now, so I just diplomatically keep my distance. Sometimes when I walk home, I would realize that he was 'coincidentally' also going home, and he's at my back, but he does not call my attention. This got very eery, so I started working late. I guess he got the signal that I am not interested, and he stopped, but we still work together. I got a talk just a few days ago with one of his co department worker (Filipina) and realized that this is how some nationalities deal with some Filipinas! They try to fish out Filipinas who are 'easy riders'! She also experienced the same thing! Charge this to experience! Well, at least he did not reach 'threat' stage hahaha.

I have similar experience back in college years when I was still a Naval reserve officer in ROTC and there is one midshipman private who keep on sending me letters and even waiting for me outside my room just to stare and not even utter a word and that was kindda wierd because he is not deaf lol! He just stare and that irritates me. Even in the training field I assigned him at the 4th platoon in able for me not to be irritated everytime I came by to give instruction to the company cmdr but still he insisted to be at the 1st pltn. I was the one who bravely confronted him and tell him that I don't like his gesture and simply said whatever his motive it is impossible for I do have a boyfriend. gEe! that works and I was very thankful for being brave to confront him first!

Yes, talking is the best way to settle things. Good thing he didn't take things violently. Or else you might have needed the whole batallion to back you up. :)

Yeah I was stalked in ninth grade. This guy was really weird and no one was nice to him. So one day I decided to talk to him because I was kinda the outcast girl (who was not made fun of because people were scared of her) and I was angry about how he was treated just because he was poor. And he started following me. Which I could deal with. Then he found out my phone number, my screenname, my email address, and where I lived. He would stand outside my apartment waiting for me to take the trash out.

Wow. And he even finds time to check you out! Good thing I never saw her doing that. Are you still in contact with him today? Or he stopped already?

i don't know if it is stalking but there was this guy who never got tired of giving cards, gifts, flowers and eww,his picture even if i didn't ask him to give me some.he would call, drop by our classroom, even gate crashed at my debut party(he was not intended to be invited but got a way to be in my party, ugh!)i already told him i don't like him but he kept on insisting that i receive his gifts. i was really afraid that he might do something to me so i don't do something harsh.i just talked to his cousin and told me it's really creeping me out.thank god for college, good riddance to him!!!

A boy and his persistence. Sounds like a classic love story that didn't unfold. LOL. The bad part is that he gate crashed your party. I hope it didn't ruin your night.
