Why still in some countries A Girl Child If Born is regarded as a curse. Nowadays Girls I mean quite a few of them out shine the boys. I thought we should Have a debate on this.

I live in Australia, and I have never heard of girl babies being regarded as a curse!!! How horrible!!!! I have 3 beautiful daughters, and I would never think of them in that way! I think this is just an old wives tale. It angers me when some countries regard girls and women as second-class citizens:( Women are just as good as men, whatever happened to equality?? We should all be treated as equals, its 2007!!!
