how do you go to office? by car or public transport

When i was at Bombay (now Mumbai), India, like millions of bombayites i used to take the local train to office. It used to be a tough time getting into the trains in the peak hour traffic.
Now i have shifted to office. I Drive down to office. I realise that the duration of travel has also reduced from 1.5 hours to 20 mins. That gives more time in my control. I feel that its good to travel in public transport, provided it is not crowded and the time taken is also not too much

I get to work by car. When I was working in the city I used to take the train and I hated getting home almost 2 hours after I was officially off work. I was able to read a lot on the train but if I needed to be home ASAP, I wasn't able to. I started working at a job that is only 1/2 an hour away from my house and I travel by car every day. I could probably take the bus but its not worth it. If I need to leave suddenly or go somewhere on my lunch I am able to now. My car is much better than a train or bus!

ya racheld i do agree with you..
initially when i didn't have my car, i used to order lunch to office, now with a car there is an added flexibility that i can go out for lunch, at my own convenience..
