Hi all. Well for a whole week now Ohio has been on a crazy weather rollercoaster this week. I just answered another discussion about the weather and my reply made me come up with this discussion. Last weekend it was like spring and very warm in the 60's and sunny.Monday and Tuesday it was unbeliveable 70 degrees.I cant remember off the top of my head i think it was Tuesday Akron, ohio had a 3.6 earthquake.
Wednesay we had a real bad storm that flooded the freeways and we actually had a tornado in Elyria,Ohio. Thursday morning we woke up to SNOW! lol Now the weatherman says snow all weekend, but there is a upside, nice spring weather again next week. I hope so i want nice warmer spring weather next weekend for my birthday! So how crazy has your weather been this week? Can you top Ohio's crazy
weather,Spring/summer,Earthquake,Rain,Tornado,Snow. All in one week, how crazy is that!

No earthquakes or tornados, but this last week here in the UK we have had very warm weather, but it was frosty last night and there's snow forecast for next week! So, rollercoaster weather all round it seems.

Here in Minnesota USA I've had my share of bizzare weather the last 2 weeks. It started with a blizzard getting 19 inches in one day. Then a couple days of just heavy winds b;owing that snow all over making the roads unseeable & impassable. Then we got into the 60's nearing 70 for a few days. Then rain and 50's. Now we're at what they call normal. Mid 30's for high temps. Rain and snow mixed occured today. But as you stated spring warmth isn't too far off. I want to get my garden started. I'm going to start seedlings this weekend I think.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!

wow 19 inches i think in the snow belt the most they got this year might of been 2 feet. But thats the heart of the snow belt. I know last year for the whole winter we had a total of 100 some inches. I am not sure what we have had this year. Got to consider we really didnt get any snow this year till the middle of january and the worst snow was on Valentine's day.
HAPY ST. PATTY'S DAY!

Yep, that has been happening around here in Virginia also...This week so far, we are had a beautiful day, around 82 degrees, the very next day, yesterday it was down in the 40's and windy, today it's severe rain, possible flooding and tomorrow it's possible we are going to have snow.
I listen to the weatherman somewhat more to give me a idea of how my son and myself need to dress...

Oh now I never bother with the weatherman because they are always wrong around here - stick my head out the door and judge from that and if going out for the day take a couple changes of cloths just incase because there is a good chance the weather is going to change before the day is over.

The weather in my country pretty much stay the same. Its hot even in the early morning. It gets hotter in the afternoon that I actually avoid going out hence I might turn into fried little charms...LOL. Evening time is bearable. A while ago, I thought its going to rain though. The sun turns from sunny to cloudy and I quickly removed from all the clothes hanging in my patio. Guess what...the rain didn't come.

there is snow and it is freezing.
i lived in israel all my life and never saw this before.
in israel most of the time is hot and we have a very short winter.
i do not know what is going on here maybe it is due to the ozon layer and it's effects..

Nothing compared to tornadoes and earthquakes, but we had a beautiful week of spring like weather all week here in MA until today. We are supposed to get up to 15 inches of snow by noon tomorrow.

Meteorologists suspect the extreme US weather was caused by the North Atlantic Oscillation, a distant cousin of El NiƱo. In Bangladesh, cold air sweeping in from Tibet was compounded by dense smog that prevented the sun warming the ground - smog made all the denser as people burned fuel to keep warm.

We went up to 79F yesterday the gnats have been biting like crazy and tomorrows high supposed to be 62F which sounds great. It was said on the news this morning that this has been the warmest winter worldwide since they started recording temperatures.

Hi Yvonne, I think that the weather is changing all over our planet as it is like this right now here in Australia but that is due to the global change we have. And so we get a lot of changes regarding this and when we go out and are going to be gone for a couple of hours we have to take a raincoat or umberella as it is likely to rain, then other days are so humid that we merely melt, and now I am wondering what kind of winter we shall have as we head for that.

I know Ohio well. I dated a guy from the Dover-New Philly area for quite sometime. I am in WV and we have had that crazy stuff too--no earthquakes or tonados though thankfully. We have had spring/summer/rain/flooding/sleet/snow all in the week as well. Right now its sleeting out and calling for what looks like one of those Noreasters that end up getting caught in the valley and moutainshere and dumping several feet of snow before it finally leaves. My yard was an ice mess last week...now its a mud pit and now its gonna freeze over AGAIN....sigh...looking forward to better weather next week.

Down here on the Ohio River we've had some crazy weather too. The whole state is a mess I think. It was 78 here the other day and now it's 35 and snow is being forecasted for this evening.

In Texas I would have to say that our weather has not been as crazy as that! My goodness! We had mild to warm weather and very sunny all last week and then Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday it was as though the skies were falling with rain! We had some slight flooding on our side of town, but nothing too major. Thursday and Friday the weather is AWESOME! in the low to mid 70's, low humidity, slight winds - beautiful! for now! Just wait a bit longer and we'll all be melting from the heat!

We were having dinner at the next exit down from where that tornado hit. We heard the noise and thought it sounded really weird for thunder. Then the lightening flashed outside the windows and we could see the funnel outside. How scary!
The day before, I had DS outside playing with bubbles, and the day after, I had to brush the snow off the car before I left in the morning.
I'd forgotten about the earthquake! I wonder what's going to happen next week?

Wow i am sure that had to be interesting to see. Of course i wouldnt be like the people they show on the news and chase after the things LOL. I barely remember one tornado when i was little and my aunt, uncle and cousins lived out in Perry. I DO remember the blizzard of 1976 because the school shut down and sent us all home in groups the oldest of the bunch leading the way. Guess who was leading my group. Needless to say i think we got 2 streets away and had to come back. I live about 6 streets from where the elementary school was.

That sure sounds like the weather there is experiencing a mood swing, lol. It played out a whole year in just one week.Quite awesome! No such luck here, but I'd rather be there in the midst of the crazy weather than a dull weather, lol.Nop,I can't beat that and I would like to join that.

I didn't get any snow down here. Man you get all the good weather up north. LOL I did get that thunderstorm the other night. The thunder rattled my windows and kept me up most of the night. That warm weather last week was nice. I was out and about with a coat. And of course the weather changes again and I get a headache and feel like I have a cold. OHIO the state where you can run the heat in the morning and AC later in the day. It is almost too funny.

Advanced Birthday wishes!!!I cant believe that all these happened in a week. Its is too strange that the sunny 70's was converted into snow just within 6 days.May be the weather is overjoyed as your birthday is coming and it is trying different suits with which it can welcome your birthday..

Definately had wild weather here, but this is New England. Had our first real snow on Valentines day and another one Friday, both storms had a warming trend at te end so it ended with freezing rain, makes for a nasty storm.
