The little turtle eat?

I have one red eared slider that is two 1/2 years old and one western painted turtle that is 1 1/2 years old. Both of them eat floating turtle pellets and the youger turtle also eats bugs and worms. From what I have read younger turtles eat more protien (live food) and older turtles more fruits and vegtables. Both of these turtles are in the water about 90% of the time. They do have to have an area that they can be dry and in a light with UVA and UVB so they can process their vitamins.

Not kept turtles before,, so I would advise that you go along to your local library or maybe vets to get advice from a proffessional that knows about turtles Lynn-Marie
