Summer

Philippines

It's summer in the Philippines, and I'm thinking of taking advantage of it. Many people are now packing up for the beaches. How can I make money out of them? What business can I put up just for this season? Any ideas?

try selling special halohalo and salbabida for rent in a kiosk near the beach. lol. sorry, i cant think of any other business during summer but people tend to temporarily migrate to the beach with kids in tow, and so halohalo is in as summer business...

I am from Cebu City and my cousin just asked me to manage thier mountain resort located somewhere south of Cebu which we will open this April. If you are interested, please PM me and I will send you the details. You could refer friends and officemates who wants to have a nice and relaxing vacation and commune with nature. We will give you a referral fee for each booking made. Thanks and God bless!

Halo-halo is famous here in our country, especially during the summer. Place a table at your front yard and put a sign at your gate that says "halo-halo for sale here". Aside from halo-halo, you could also sell mais con yelo, ice candy, fish balls, squid balls, and orlians.

You can sell iced drinks, coke, Pepsi, tea, lemonade or bottled water. Buy it on sale and sell it for a higher price. Maybe sell some sun tan lotion as well. Anything they would need at a beach or a hot sunny day is good.

I am sure lot of tourists come to the beach and also people normally do not carry camera with them. If you have a good digital camera with a printer attached, you can offer to take pictures of them and deliver them the prints few hours later at their hotel. I have seen people doing these business in the beaches in India. Godd luck.

If you're on a windy open area, selling kites is nice. For drinks, buko juice (coconut water) is far more refreshing than soft drinks and concentrate juice drinks, it is also cheaper to sell. Stay away from expensive products.
