Do people not realize how they smell?

I just had someone stop by my desk that smells very badly, like he has not had a shower in a few days. Top that off that his breath nearly made my eyebrows fall off. Do people just not care about how they come across to people??

Are you sure he does not have a hormonal dusfunction? Some people smell bad because their body does not work properly. For people who do not care or don't think it matters, or whatever reasons they have, if they smell bad their senses get used to that smell, after a while they don't realize they smell bad because they have gotten used to it. I feel sorry for you to have to smell someone's BO, it's not very pleasant!

I don't think it has anything to do with hormones, I think he's just lazy.

Some people just don't realize it. Especially when it comes to breath. Who was this person?
