I am so scared!!

I won the lottery on one of those scratch off tickets and won $ 20,000.00 well, this happened yesterday and we were going to go today to turn it in and do whatever I need to do. Well my hubby said he did not think it was a winner that it could not be that we just were not lucky and he said that on his way to work that he would go by gas station that sells tickets to check, now I know it is a winner. You had a grid that you had to scratch off 10 coordinates and if you had 3 of one symbol you won that prize - I had 3 of the top symbol for the big prize of $20,000. Well he said that if it was winner he would come back home and just miss work that night. He never came home!! Could he just be going ahead and working. If he is not here by 12 noon I am going to freak. He works in louisville and gets off at 10 so he is usually home by 11 but today is payday so he cashes that and gets home at about 12. I am so scared. Yesterday morning we had a huge fight. I feel sick at my stomach.

You won and hopefully still have that ticket. With that kind of money you would be ok for a while if he is not part of your life. Not sure what the fight was about. If he is in possession of that ticket then you have to know what his intentions will be. I wish you luck with this. I hope it is good money and that things all work out for you.

Unfortunately it's highly likely the ticket would be split three ways.. with a lawyer getting one of the thirds..

I thought you were thinking perhaps he took off with the winnings.. In which case you likely wouldn't get anything, unless you hired a lawyer..

Try to take some deep breaths.. and relax. I get the feeling that everything is ok. If it's not there's nothing you can do about at right this moment.. If he has absconded with your winnings, then you can go to law, but you might not want him to know you are distrusting him so much until later.. There may be a reason why he thinks it's not a winner. [bless you..] I am anxious to find out the outcome of this..

I see that this was posted 5 days ago...SOOOO did you win???
I would be freaking out too. I think I would have called him at work or went to his work to find out.
As for the fighting, if you have been together for so long then one fight is going to do nothing to your relationship.
I hope you really won! Just talking to someone who has won that much is exciting for me!!!

I'm also wondering how things turned out? Your profile says you last logged in 6 days ago, so I'm actually worried because you said "if anything happened, you'd die". I hope things turned out well and that perhaps you're just celebrating and keeping busy. Please do post back and let us know how things went. Hope you're ok.

Congratulations on winning the lottery first of all. I never win anything LOL. Was your ticket really for real??? If it is, what does your husband think about it now? I don't think your husband is still upset with you, especially if you just won a part of the lottery. He may just be out somewhere celebrating LOL. I hope he finally comes home and everything is okay for you. I know how it is to argue and then your spouse leave and not come back for a while. It makes me very upset also. My husband also works in Louisville, Kentucky. We live in Indiana also. It take him about and hour to get home also. Sometimes he gets stuck in traffic and he doesn't get home on time and I really get worried. I hope everything works out for you and way to go on winning that money.

Wow! It would be great if you have indeed won it.Just try to relax .It should be matter of few hours before your hubby comes back with the news.If you just can't stand the suspense ,then why don't you try calling him and verifying what's up?I wish you luck to win the lottery!:)
