When I had gestational diabetes my dietitian told me pretty much to stay away from anything artificial sweetened - because my blood sugar would still go high on those. I wonder if someone have experience with the Coca Cola Zero and measuring blood sugar levels?

You don't have to worry about the sweetner in it, but it's the caffine that will raise your sugars, I have a naturals doctor I go to, he taught me it was the caffine that bothers your sugar level, in coke zero and all sodas with caffine. And the sweetners have been known to cause cancer.

Plus, you gain weight and it causes you to crave sweets. It's just plan bad for you. I drink Verve, look up Vemma it has it in diet and it sweetened with natual type like stevia, plus the caffine is natuarl.

I am not sure whether or not Coca Cola Zero would affect your blood glucose level. But I would suggest you to consult your physician who is the right person to give you the right advice.

I am diabetic and I drink about 4-5 cans of Coke Zero a day and it doesn't seem to affect my blood sugar levels in any way. But strangely enough it's the first thing I crave when my sugar is high. I don't think it would have hurt you.
