Do you consider yourself a fixy person?

I know a lot of people who are fixy. They spend hours getting ready, shopping for clothes and accessories, doing their make up, getting their hair and nails done. I used to be somewhat that way, but now I'm am more casual. I have a good hair cut that I can fix fast and go and I don't even like to shop hardly anymore. How about you, do you consider yourself a fixy person?

I realized while I was at a department store today that I hadn't dried my hair (though I had combed it!) and was wearing my slip on shoes that I run out to the mailbox in. :0 Since I've been a SAHM I usually just go for comfort and quickness. It's something that I'm meaning to work on, but have to get myself a little more organized before I'm going to succeed with it.

That's easy to do at least for me, unless I put a contious effort into it. Good luck and thanks for letting us know.

When mine is at that between stage I tend to tie it back for a while, then when you let it down it's grown long enough to hopefully stop annoying you. Another bonus of this is that people realize how long and pretty it is and you get lots of compliments,so don't do it. I get nuts from mine and want to pull it out sometimes. But do not do something you will regret out of frustration. I think you should only get the trim and feel better. If not, then you will have cooled down, and can always cut it. But once you cut it, you will have to wait a long time for it to grow back.

Where I'm from, we call that sort of person "high maintenance", and no, I'm not one of them. I'll put on a little makeup and make sure I'm presentable before I go out the door, but it never takes me more than 10 minutes. I just can't imagine spending hours of my life in front of a mirror, of all the narcissistic things!

Yes everything has to be exactly in place or I have to fix it.
