In Thailand Football is number one , two, three, and so on. I have to agree thou Aussie Rules, rule.

here in india cricket is the no. 1 game and it is a religion for people in india. I love playing cricket and even watching it (specially when india is playing)

Alas I have to take you to task on this one because the number 1 sport in Australia is not Aussie Rules Football, although it certainly is in some states, e.g. Victoria and we all also know how divided people are about the various teams. I am a member of the AFL, but in my case that stands for anti-football league. LOL
Yes we are certainly tops in the cricket at the present time and luckily we have many good up and coming players who are just waiting for some of the older players to retire so they can get a berth in the Australian team. I see that even today the Kiwi's thrashed the Poms at the cricket, so the poor old Poms are not doing too well at all. However did you see that when Shane Warne goes back to play County Cricket in England, that they Poms want him to help with the coaching of some of their younger players?

Cricket is the No. 1 sport here in India. People here are passionate about cricket. It is a religion here. We do have a good team but perhaps they are not performing up to the expectations. Politics here have changed the scenario. No doubt Australia is the No. 1 team but if any team can beat them, That's is my Indian team.
