A Question for The Women

Why does it seem like women always hate other women? I mean, we always talk about standing together as women, but we're also the first to cast out one of our own!
Ever since I can remember, I've had this huge insecurity about other women. And it started when I started tranforming from a tom-boy into a girl! lol. Of course, I've had girl friends, but when I was younger, it was mostly "boy" friends. Cause for some reason girls didn't like me. And I've often wondered if it was because I was a tom-boy that they didn't like me.
Growing up, my mom was a tom-boy too, had lots of guy friends...so I was raised knowing that it was ok to be friends with guys, NOTHING else. However, I later found out when i moved out on my own, that my mother was sleeping with over half of them!!!
So that's when the horrible thought crossed my mind, that maybe the reason I had so much trouble making "girl" friends, was because they all assumed I was a tramp!
And please believe me, I wasn't. Like I said, I thought it was normal to be friend with guys.
As I got older, like in Jr. High and High school, it just got worse...so I stopped hanging out with guys, because I knew it looked bad, and some of the guys when I got older thought I had different intentions too...but still, women don't seem to like me.
Maybe it's just me. I've always thought and have been told that I was a sweet person. I always try to be nice to everyone that I meet. But I guess that's just not enough.
I don't know, I guess I just find that women are harder to befriend most times, than guys are.

Don't worry about it. I'm the same way; I see it as no big deal, really.
I have little in common with other women; I am mechanically inclined, I am into electronics, cars, motorcycles, computers, gaming, D&D, etc. I always have been. I was never the type of girl to play with dolls or have tea parties - but by age 8 I knew just how to help Dad bleed the brakes on the car.
I tend to see most other women as too helpless, too dependent, and just too silly to really have much in common with them. I know that sounds awful, but it's how I feel. I can never be a minivan mom. I'll never join the PTA (because I like -real- solutions, not pointless meetings with good intentions).
Most of my friends are guys, even now. They just make more sense to me.

there are some women in this world who cannot handle girls that are free and enjoy life, like you haning out with the guys, they dont like it becuase they are not doing it and see that your having fun. jelousy. there will always be that with women, compete against one another for the cutest guy. rich girls think they are better because they have money, but they are just spoilt, what would they do with out that money.
