Ebay---How addicted are you?

I will admit, when I was first introduced to Ebay, I was a true addict, overtime and budgeting I disciplined myself and limited myself to shopping on Ebay. Now if I go on there, I go when I have a little extra money and instead of going out shopping, I resort to Ebay. Some deals are very nice I admit, and having Paypal linked to Ebay works wonders... If there is something I need for myself, my son or my house, I will go to Ebay before I start looking at different stores... So my question to you, are you a true Ebayer? Or just go from time to time as I? Have you every tried EBAY before? Please share any stories if you like...

I love Ebay it is one of my favorite places to shop. I spend hours upon hours searching through listings and comparing them with bizrate prices. I have spent over $300 on Ebay this week! I doubt that I will be buying anything else for awhile.

I'm not addicted at all. If I am looking for a paricular producy I might check them out but it would be unbusual. A lot of the time I see good deals but then we get into international shipping (even from the UK) and it becomes a lot less of a goood deal.

I am a True Ebayer. I spend most of my days on there. I have to, since Ebay is my one and only job. But I also buy on there at least weekly. I love shopping on Ebay! I've gotten lots of great deals lately for my baby nephew. Brand new items for 99 cents!

Not really addicted; but, I do use it frequently. If there is something I want or need and cannot find it for a reasonable price (or even find it) locally; then eBay is the FIRST place I go. Also, since I live 15 miles from the nearest town; having a yard sale is not really an option, so I have my "yard sale" on eBay. I start my auctions at .99 plus shipping and sometimes I make money and other times I barely break even after all the fees; but, I do get the stuff out of my house. Right now, I am selling some of my books to make room for more. Later, who knows! If you like to read, check the link in my profile.

I visit ebay once in a while.I don't do any selling there , but would like to learn how it works. It shouldn't be that difficult I guess.I have heard that their fees is on the higher side .That's what has stopped me from trying it out to sell anything.Probably, when I get some free time I will look around to see how it works.

Oh I see....Just when you get that free time, don't fall in and become a addict, have control. I know initially I didn't know how to act..lol..But quickly shaped up and disciplined myself..yep I had to, some prices for things I needed even wanted were just right..lol

At first I was addicted with ebay, buying and selling item all the time. But Now it become necesary as I make my money from my eBay shop, so if I'm not on eBay try to sell something I don't really earn any money... I quite enjoy it though I like working online from home and now when I'm not on eBay I check out mylot...xxx

I personally have bought many things on eBay and recently have even tried selling things through half.com which is a sister site to actual eBay. I would say that every time I have ever bought something from eBay I attempt to get things from "Buy it Now" because then I have a set fixed price and I know that I'm the one that's getting it. On the other hand whenever I can't find it "Buy it Now" or if the BIN price is too high then what I do, it calculate the entire purchase with shipping and my maximum cost I am willing to pay for the item and ever since they started the auto bid up feature I just put in the absolute highest I'm willing to pay and then check back when the auction is over so I don't try to bid any higher.

I know what you mean, it can be something, I caught myself buying stuff right before the bid ends. But you can get caught up in that if you not paying attention to the money amount..lol I did that once.

i am a powerseller in ebay. do be discipline in ebay is you have to buy and sell. Ebay is not just a place for buying, you need to sell. so there would be a balance in your budget. ebay have a lot of good bargains. when the time is right you buy and when the time is right you sell. ....

I dont prefer doing shopping from Ebay. Nothing to be against them but I dont trust the quality of the product which other sellers give. I would prefer to buy something from store rather than buying online especially electronics.

NO, I am not addict in it. I just do some shopping on it, I sometimes buy some dress and books, DVDs or other goods, it is cheaper and convient than shopping on the street. I don't do that every day, because I don't have enough money to do it
