I think the way boys are raised is changing. Men are becoming more open to expressing their feelings, which, in my opinion, is a good thing! With more two-income families, I think gender roles are changing and it's becoming more acceptable for men to take on characteristics traditionally thought feminine and vice-versa. I've always thought it sad that traditionally men were taught growing up to hide their feelings and be "strong." What stress it must put them under!

i think that males are braught up differently from femals in the terms of the society codes and their family
from a very early age the boy hears the sentence "you are a man" and that means you should not cry like a girl, you should not show too many emotions cause you are a man..you should only play with boy's things: cars and etc. because you are a man. only sissis cry or behave that way..
well those are the sentances usually boys are hearing
afterwards they get a responses at school from their male friends if they are man enough..
so ofcourse men usually hide their emotions more then women
they do not have the approval from society and family to act differently
but are they really strong emotionally from others..i do not think so. only at the hiding part..

The most sensitive people i know are men, as a matter of fact. Some of the men i know are far better to share their emotions, and cry in public, than most of my female friends. Again: This is not something I believe to be a gendedr thing. It is rather a result of personality, culture, values and upbringing.
