why is it that Philippines is one of the poorest country in the world?

is it because of our corrupt politicians ? or some other reasons that make Philippines cannot grow economically?

Its is not just the politicians... its more on the filipinos. Almost all filipinos are corrupt. It maybe because of poverty that even their dignity is sold just for the sake of money. It all be blame to our political leaders.
