I feel it is the other way around. Girls always accept their in laws faster than the guys. Yes and it is always a give and take policy. Why would we hate them when it is them we have to live with, but I cannot keep loving them if they show their hatred towards me.

I absolutely love my in-laws! They are so wonderful and I couldn't have asked for a better family :) I think a lot of the things you hear about "horrible in-laws" are a bit exaggerated, but then again there are those who really aren't very pleasant to deal with. I am blessed that I found a husband who came from such a wonderful, loving family. I consider myself very lucky!
