I've recently just received a news that one of the greatest pinoy rock band that ever dominated the music scene will have a reunion after they decided to split up ten years ago, and that they have made a studio album finished just recently.
All hail 'Wolfgang', one of my favorite filipino rock bands of all time. I missed Basti and the rest of the guys, can't wait to hear their new songs also. They just liven up my day now!LoL
So what do you guys think, your expectations to them? Do you think they will dominate again 'pinoy' rock genre?

i am not much of a rock music fanatic... but i've read about wolfgang's come back especially in the U.S. and i am really proud to hear that they are back again. they are one respected rock band all over the world. and makes me feel proud to be a pinoy. they always bring the glory of our nation when promoting themselves. and it's nice to know that they are also proud to be pinoys.

oh, is the famous razorback a part of wolfgang? sorry. not knowledgable much about the members. but i do know how popular they are ever since and glad that they are coming back in the scene.
well, yep. e-heads are not categorized like what wolfgang's type of music is... and e-heads is my favorite when it comes to their kind of music, too.

Yes, Wolfgang is the epitome of modern rock. They are the best at their own crafts, along with their buddy-band, Razorback!;)
We cannot compare any cheap bands from them as they are much different, and that their genre is only includes a few number of pinoy heavy-metal bands. Just like the E-heads, they are the best on their craft and that they do not fall on the same category with Wolfgang. And I too like E-heads, as they did the best music that inspired most of us during their time!;)

I think Wolfgang's drummer Wolf Gemora has a common friend from Razorback, not much sure about that though. But I know that Razorback were the one's that introduced Wolfgang on the music scene, I never even imagined that Wolfgang would be that much successful over Razorback!;)

yup, most bands today sucks(@_*) they try to imitate foreign rockers and try to make their voices tough and hard while in the middle its just a piece of wanna be... but people liked it, so its up to them, and me, nyaahhh never.. its so disgusting and fake.. not like the old days^_^

LoL Right now, I listen to music from foreign rock bands. I don't think pinoy rock music has the quality anymore, all they do is just make music and that's all, no essence at all!:(
But with the return of Wolfgang, I hope that they set up another pace in making quality filipino rock music. I hope that they do set the standards back to 'best' again.
You take care also!;)

I haven't seen Basti yet, I'm curious of what he looks like right now..
Well when former Metallica bassist Jason Newstead came here, Razorback and Them Wolfgang where one of those lucky pinoy bands who get the chance to jam with him.
As for their album you were mentioning, it's Semenelin (no offense meant).
You are right, most of the bands today are trying hard and rockers wanna-be's.
Miss you too, God bless!;)

I like Slapshock too but I like more on Wolfgang. They can't be compared. All we have to know that they are both creative Pinoy Rock Bands and we should be proud of them.

Basti and the guys are the best fusion in rock music. If you could have a sneak on their latest music please PM. Thank You.

I'll try to keep you updated through this post of mine, just keep in touch from time to time also.
I haven't heard of anything from since the announcement of their comeback, I just can't seem to understand why it is not yet that well-publicized. I only heard that they've made four new tracks, but Yahoo! Music just wants to show it through WAPs.

The last news i've heared about wolfgang is that they formed a band called "LOCOMOTIV" with the guitarist from the other filipino disbanded group. They are a US based band that time and playing front act for the US tour of Parokya.. I'm so glad that wolfgang is now together again. I will be waiting for them to play at MAYRICS.. am quite sure they will.. hmmmm.... cant wait for them already.. woooohhoooo!!!

The reason that I know why wolfgang decided to spilt up, si because media piracy was rampant during those times. Their products and hard-work all just went to those people who sells pirated softwares, the authorities still don't know how to suppress it during those times..

Hell yeah! Wolfgang is my most fave band, next to Eraserheads of course! I have seen them in some of their gigs after their 10 year hiatus and they are still astig and great as ever!
You should hear their song "Sandata" and "Tulisan", part of their new album released just this year, 2012. And oh, "Halik ni Hudas" was also the OST of the movie, Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles. The new video of that song is awesome!
