South Africa's recoed pursuit of 434 last year against Australia has given it beleif that anything could happen in one day cricket.This is exactly like so and Graeme Smith is confident about it too.He said,"To chase 434 and win the game really gives you lot of confidence and I think this team broke a lot of barriers that day." But many one points out that Soth Africa fears defeat and have lack of self belief. Even former Australian skipper Steve waugh and fast bowler Glen McGrath also says so. But according to Graeme Smith they have handled pressure well of late than South Africa

As Smith said South Africa have handled pressure better than Australians better in past few months.well when they were playing one day internationals against India and pakistan in south africa they recovered under pressure from critical situations in many matches which they could not do in previous world cups held in 2003 and 1992,1999 .In 1996 they lost in quarter finals.this time they are confident that they will win.so after they chased 434 they are very confident and that too against Australain attack who knows this they have got good chance to win the world cup.
