You're in the store-you pick up a few items only to realize you don't need them or want them. You don't want to go back to the different places to put them back so do you:
1) leave them where ever you are
2) go back and put them back where you got them from
3) give them to the cashier at the end so someone can put them back

For the most part, I will go back to the original place where I picked up the product and return it there. But there has been some occasions when I have already started to check out, and then realized I didn't want/need an item, and instead of delaying the people in back of me, I have asked the cashier to place the specific item into the return pile.

Hmmm..great question, and lol sometimes I do just put them wherever I am in the store at that time. However, if it is something that needs to be refrigerated or frozen, I will put it back, unless my 4 kids who are with me when I shop are really acting up, then I will just buy them anyway.

I will usually put the items back myself. If I am in a very large store (like a Super WalMart or something) and far away from where I picked the item up, I may instead give it to the cashier. They usually have a few carts near the registers for "restock" item and returns, so I know it will get back where it should.

I most always try to take it back to where I got it from. Now, if I'm in a humongous Wal-mart, that can be hard to do so I am guilty of putting things right where I am, which isn't often, but I have done it. I feel guilty about it too because working at Wal-mart myself, I do know how frustrating it is. I have never ever done it with frozen goods or anything like that. That is where it gets super frustrating because if it isn't seen in enough time, the store loses money.

I do that if i am walking around I just drop it off somewhere unless it is refrigerated then i put it in a random refrigerated place (so it wont spoil) lol then if i get to the register then realize that i dont want it i give it to the checker they usually have a lil box under the register for things of that sort.

Personally, I just put them at the back of a shelf behind other items. Personally I think its their job, I mean that is what they get paid for.
