He is 8 years old and still has to wear pull ups at night. I have done everything to get him to go. From nothing to drink after 5 pm to waking him and taking him potty every 1 to 2 hours and it still hasn't worked. The dr says there is nothing medically wrong. Please give me some advice.

ok i know this responce will probably get alot of boo's and hiss's but it worked for me when my kids were young... bribery..lol find out something that he really wants ( within reason ) and tell him.. if you can not wear the pull ups or wet your bed for 5 days straight.. we will go get you.------- and see if that works, it might be that he is just to lazy to get out of bed at night and knowing he has on a pull up he is ok if he goes in bed.. i dont blame you for putting him in the pull ups tho washing sheets and changing the bed every day is tiring..lol so maybe the motivation of something he truly wants will help him to get up at night and pee.. and i agree with diane.. put nightlights in his room and bathroom he might just be a little afraid of the dark

Some kids are just "bed-wetters" and no matter what you try will continue to wet the bed. He will grow out of it sooner or later. My nephew did it until he was like 12 I think, it is just something they can't control. Hang in there, it will happen.
