anti-depressants and trying to get pregnant

So I went to my doctor today to discuss putting me back on anti-depressants. He took me off when I told him my husband and I were trying for another child. The first few months were rough, so I asked him about putting me back on them. He didn't know a lot about the effects of the drugs on the unborn children that may come along, so he asked me to come back in a month so he could talk to other doctors. That sounded fair to me, so I agreed.
So today he said that he was all set to put me back on, but then he saw a commercial that said "Did you take Paxil while you were pregnant? Call us and we can get you money." Basically saying that they'd sue everyone who was involved in putting you on Paxil. So now he doesn't want to. Now, I don't know if it's because you never know what the effects really are or if it's just because he's afraid of getting sued. It's just frustrating going there and basically being told that there's nothing he can do for me, but come back next month and pay me so I can tell you the same thing. Aaarrrggghhh!
Not for nothing, but I have been feeling better this past week. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I think it might have to do with the weather. I live in Western NY and it gets crappy out during the winter, but this week it has been really nice.
Anyway...does anyone else have any comments about anti-depressants and pregnancy or while trying to get pregnant?
