Why do people choose to spend their hours here for a few cents?

Just have a funny thought. From my discussions I gathered here, most people earn less than a dollar everyday for a couple of hours they put in myLot. Imagine how much we can make if we take a part time job to fill these hours. Say babysitting, delivering pizzas, waiting on tables.... My question is.. why do people choose to spend their hours here.. considering the returns on their time is far from high?
P.S. No offence to anyone. I am someone who choose to spend my hours here for a few cents too =)

I registered with myLot out of curiosity. Then I was started responding to and reading all the discussions and got to like it very much. Yes, I could make a lot more by doing other things, but I can sit here in my own home and just log in to myLot whenever I please and the money is just a bonus.

I myself have a home business so I am home during the day and evening so I have much idle time this is when I come on to make the few cents that one makes on here, this is not a carrier it is just something to do to try to make some extra money which is what we all need nowadays and to meet new people and just get your opinions out and sites to this I have noticed. I am a member to alot of sites like this and forums I just enjoy them so I don't mind spending time here and there.

Me too. And I find all these GPT sites so addictive. Kind of give me a kick to earn free money... as some may call it

Everybody has different reasons for spending time here. For some it's the money, and if they can't work outside the home for some reason, mylot is probably just part of their money making. I spend less time here now than I did at the start. I drop in a few times a day for a few minutes and look for new discussions. I've learned to do more in less time, which is important, considering that there's no way to make much money unless you have active referrals.

I have a good job, I earn enough money to live well. So, I'm not here to earn money, but because I'm an Internet lover, I love whatever is on the Internet and I like trying all these new sites. That's all.

My wife has been a member of myLot for a few months now and she seems to be doing quite well. She has spoken so often about the site to me, that I have decided to join and hopefully make lots of friends and a little bit of pocket money...lol. I think the enjoyment is more important than the few cents but either way I am hoping to spend a lot of time here in the future.
