who should be the next captain on MAN U?

In all honesty i think it should be Rio Ferdinard or who do you think should be the next captain?

i would say Giggs or Scholes. Both of them are well respected by other team members and also, they are able to communicate well with all players. Rooney is too young at the moment to take the captaincy, maybe he could after Giggs and co retired

I tink Michael Carrick or Rio Ferdinand.. in my opinion.. i tink captain shld come from either a Central Midfield or Central Defender.. I would prefer not to give striker too much responsibilities.. so as to let them focus on scoring.. Michael Carrick will make a good captain in my opinion.. but he need to be more aggressive towards the teammates in order to fire them up..

well, i think wayne rooney very match with Man U character (kick and rush)and he has prestige in Man U or England team. And old trafford public very respect with him (do i affiuent?). go..go. Man united.

Rio would be a good choice, but Sir Alex's choices for the captain have always been unique. He needs fiery people to fire the team up on the field. I have a sneaking sensation that Rooney might be the person Sir Alex would turn to, provided he can keep his cool. Of the current, none of the others really are captain material just yet. Cheers! Ram
