Hi, havfaith. Here is a recipe for Cabbage soup that is really good, provided you like other vegetables, too. It's quite filling. Bon appetit!
Vegetable Soup
2/3 c. sliced or diced carrots 1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 c. diced onion 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
2 minced garlic cloves 1/2 c. diced zucchini
3 c. canned broth of any flavor 1 TB. tomato paste
1-1/2 c. cut up green cabbage
1/2 c. green beans, fresh or canned
Put small amount (1 T. or so) in saucepan and heat. Cook the carrot, onion, and garlic over low heat about 4 or 5 minutes. Add broth, cabbage, beans, tomato paste, basil, oregano. Boil and reduce heat, simmering with cover on for 12-15 minutes. Stir in zucchini and heat for 3 or 4 minutes.
Pearl Grace P.S. You can add or take away vegetables, per your taste preference.
