I,m new to mylot and I was just wondering , on average how long does it take to achieve a minimal pay out.How long did take to achieve minimal pay out your first time.Is pay out based upon how many words you type or how many responses you get?

I am also new to myLot but my wife has been a member for quite some time now. It took her less than two weeks to reach her minimum payout which was $10. I don't think payout is based on how many words you type but on how many responses you make. I have been told not to respond with less than four lines and also never to respond with just one word. I don't think either that it depends on how many responses you get, once you get responses to your topic, then you get paid for it.
