how do your pet dogs show their love to you?

I was really amazed by what my "neighbor's dog" showed to me. I always love dogs, even if he is my neighbor's dog it seems like he is also my dog. One night i went to visit my neighbor and when i looked at the time t'was already 11pm. so i hurriedly went home.as i was walking i noticed this dog following me.sometimes he walked beside me, sometimes ahead of me, until i arrived home he was with me. he went with me to protect me. i was really touched by the way this dog showed his love to me. as i closed the door, he slowly went home also. that's why i really love dogs.
Have you noticed the kind act your dog showed to you? How?

My dog showed his love by buying me flowers and cooking me a gourmet... - no wait! That was my boyfriend! lol!
There's always the joyful reunion when I come home, even if I've only been gone 10 minutes. haha
One thing they do is make sure I'm there. They might be outside playing but come in to see if I'm in the bedroom, den or where ever - then go back outside. It's sorta funny to be sitting there doing paperwork and see a dog poke his head in the door just to see if I'm ok, then turn around and leave.
