While I was on my way to work, I remembered what me and my friends talked about yesterday. We talked about British English and American English. Well, ever wondered who started the English language? Or where it really came from? Who started to speak it first or originally?
Just a thought..Hope you would share your thoughts on this. Thank You in Advance.

hi langga! There's a local cup noodles that i usually buy that has a FYI feature and says that english in philippines is being started by europeans. as what we have learned in our history, they came here first than the americans.
I've studied ESL (english as second language) before. I've learned that english is the 2nd most spoken language. it is on its way in becoming the unofficial international language. as what ive learned too that english originates from germanic tribes to british tribes.

English was started in England as an amalgam of several languages (Latin, Gaelic, etc.). As it moved into the colonies and later the US, "American" English has evolved differently from "British" English.
As George Bernard Shaw once said "Britain and the U.S. are two countries separated by a common language".
