I ALWAYS use my foot to flush a public toilet. I also use it to flush a toilet if the bathroom looks dirty (especially if the bowl is dirty, yuck). When in a public bathroom I also turn the water on, soap up my hands, then rinse. Then I leave the water running while I get a paper towel. I usually use my elbow to prompt the machine if it has a lever. I dry my hands, then use the towel to turn of the tap. I use the towel to open the door, too. Most of the germs in a public bathroom are on the handles -- the lock handles, the door handles, the tap handles. It may sound over the top, but I rarely pick up colds or the flu. I've also never had pinkeye -- and I'm convinced that it's because of my vigilence.

I never have done that...I am kinda clumsy so I would probably fall over if I tried to balance and flush with my foot =)
