Do you think that there should be a Borat sequel? The first one was hilarious. I saw it in the theatres and have the DVD. I think that Sacha Baron Cohen should make a sequel. He is the funniest man in the world. It could make great money. I think I read somewhere that he said that he wouldn't make a sequel. Anyone have confirmation?

I think it would be difficult to make a sequel, regardless as to whether or not he wanted to do one or he was in it for the money. I am sure it would sell because of the success of the first one, but how many people don't know who he is. Through news about the lawsuits from the first movie, or his wacky appearances on other television shows, I think a lot of America knows who "Borat" is now.

That's what I was going to say, everyone knows who he is by now. I mean I sure would if he came into my town. His other character though, the Austrian Fashion guy... I heard that also he was coming out with a movie for him but I dont think it will be AS funny. Ali G might be good as a movie.

Absolutely, there should be a sequel to Borat.
However, I wonder that now because Borat is quite famous; in which part of the world will he be able to carry out another mokumentary without being noticed?

I doubt there'll be a sequel, and as much as I love Borat, I hope there isn't one either. As someone said, Sacha is more about impact than money, and if there were a sequel, it wouldn't be anywhere near as funny. His other TV sketch show characters will probably get movies though, so watch out =p
