What's your favourite era for clothing?

Yes, I do. I have many favorites, like 1920s, 1940s you mentioned already, and what's wrong with 30s? I have many old magazines from this period, and there are some wonderful things, and knittings also. 1950s are great, I made me a summer dress with a bolero using an original pattern, it's sooo ladylike! 1960s are good also. 1970s were my teenage years... Perhaps 1980s is the period I do not like so much. I'm very interested in middle ages' clothing, and my other favorite style in the history is empire.

I love the corset era also as well as the 1700 the wonderful silk dresses especially the French Fashion.It was very feminine and sexy at the same time.

I love the 40's, the 50's, the 60's, and some of the70's. The platforms and the bell bottoms from the 70's were hot! The short mini skirts from the 60's were just fabulous! The classy sofistication of the 40's and 50's were awesome. Women dressed like ladies during this era.
