I got vista ...and XP too right now on XP and i got too many problems with VISTA though its good sometimes. As many people knew already , it got softwares compatibility problem. The problem which i am facing is , frequently the 3D AERO thing and the side bar things stop working suddenly and i have to restart the system to get them back. But unfortunately two of my friends who installed the same copy of my VISTA are not having any problems like me , now don't say i got less configured PC i got a high end PC with Core 2 Duo processor and 2GB RAM and 256 MB Nvidia graphics card.
I had to reinstall VISTA too many times even today i installed it 2 times and gotta install one more time tomorro .
The good things which i saw in vista are :
Better GUI than XP.
Better security (phishing and all , this said by some people).
I felt the internet access is somewhat faster in vista than in XP this is just my personal feeling so i aint got any proof.

Woow WIndows Vista.. what a hot subject i can say. I have talked a lot in my area with many of my friends and all of them had only positive thoughts about it. I can say that i was blow off by this new windows system. Some things certainly lack to it but this new look which Microsoft has incorporated in it certainly do the money you would give for it. I have waited this new system for 2 weeks and here i am using it. It was pretty hard for me to buy it because in my area it can't be found. So i had to ask a friend from another part of my country to order me. I am so happy using it and all i have are only words of gratitdue. I post here a short description about VISTA.
Windows Vista contains hundreds of new features; some of the most significant include an updated graphical user interface (GUI) and visual style dubbed Windows Aero, improved searching features, new multimedia creation tools such as Windows DVD Maker, and completely redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems. Vista also aims to increase the level of communication between machines on a home network using peer-to-peer technology, making it easier to share files and digital media between computers and devices. For developers, Vista includes version 3.0 of the .NET Framework out of the box. The .Net Framework makes it significantly easier for developers to write high-quality applications than with the traditional Windows API.

I'm in the middle of testing it right now (company purposes, that is) and things that I noticed: that there are several apps that will run in it but will have certain errors in operation, it is definitely better than XP in terms of GUI (Graphic User Interface, first time users will definitely need time to get used to several tasks for it is not the same as in XP/2K environment, requires about 2 or 3 more steps to get there (networking, and other stuffs). It works good on a Dual Core CPU and 2 GB RAM on an Intel mobo +512 MB video, I won't try it on less config because it is a resource hungry OS.
