Can you finish a crossword?

Well, I was able to finish some crosswords honestly before. Although it took me long hours to finish them. It really is tempting to cheat once you are at the point where you need a certain word to fill up other words. =)

Nope, I'm horrible at crossword puzzles. I love word searches but not the regular puzzles. Ultimate worst Christmas gift. #2 son gave me a 1000 word crossword puzzle poster - that is the height of giving the gift you really want yourself. We hung it on his bedroom door and he did all but 3 words - I found those :(

I try real hard to finish any crossword puzzle I start. Sometimes it takes a couple days to finish it, but I almost always do. I like to do the New York Times crossword, and do the crosswords in my daily paper. Once in a while I'll pick up a Dell puzzle book that has anagrams and cryptograms, along with puzzles, in it. It's great to keep the mind active, and a good way to learn new words.

I can do the easy ones in the books, but a couple of weeks ago I actually did the one in the local paper - I'm no brain when it comes to words or spelling so those things are hard for me.

I've never finished a crossword in a city-wide distibuted newspaper. they always have weird sports people i've never heard of.

I love the NY Times Sunday puzzle. Crosswords are a great way to expand your vocabulary.

I was happily amazed once. I am a big fan of the Dell Variety books and they always include the logic problem in them. I was able to complete one, correctly I might add. I thought I was the most intelligent person on earth at that time. I am not sure if I really want to add that I haven't been able to finish one since then.
