Does anyone need time away from their kids?

I'm a full time mum and I need a break from my kids sometimes. It's funny though because even though I sometimes just need to get away from them, I always miss them if I do leave them! It does kids good (and mum's!) to have a little bit of time away from each other. My oldest child goes to school so I do get a break from him but my youngest is barely a toddler. I don't recall really needing much of a break from my oldest when he was a baby but I really need to get away from my youngest sometimes, luckily, he has grandparents who will have him for a couple of hours so I can have a break (although that break from the baby is usually to do something with my other son so it's not really a break!)

I know I need a break. No, a vacation. I need like a week or two with them out of my hair. Ugh. We have been cooped up in the house since November. The only time they are not with me is when I do the laundry down the street. That's like 6 hours a month when they are not around me. Not much.

hi there well i think we all need a little break from our kids at some point, i don't get a break ever from my daughter because im a stay at home mum and sometimes it does actually drive me around the bend but then again she would probably be happy if i went out for a few hours and somebody minded her, hehe! =)
