I often look. If someone seems like they might make a good friend, I will go read. If I read a discussion and they "hint" that their homepage is of interest to me, I will go look. Sometimes I go read just because I like thier AV. I am kinda nosey. LOL

I've only looked at profiles when someone has requested to be my friend. I've seen a couple of people from my area, and mostly people who have similar interests. I haven't browsed any, just because it takes up too much time. I'd rather be reading posts and responding.

I do read the profiles frequently, because whenever I see the discussion or the response little different than normal; just out of curiosity I spare some time to go to the profile of thta user. If any blog or the website of this user is there then I even read it for further details of the users.
all this experiment very well guides me to attend or bother about this user or not in the future.
Sometimes I visit the profile to check the place of residence & the nationality which definitly matters some times to understand the culture and over all senario where the user was born & brought up.
What about you and what is your view regarding this profile viewing, what did you exactly read when you visited 107 profiles all time in mylot as untill today.
Wish you all the best.

I personally haven't looked at the profiles for users. However I am new and I am still getting familiar with the features of mylot. I assume that by looking at the profiles of other people you can get an idea of ther interests and what kind of discussions they would be willing to participate in. In the future if you do find out more about profiles let me know please.
