I read that Simon said in his latest interview that he is bigger than Bruce Springsteen. This is in respond to the Boss latest contract of USD100mil. Acording to Simon since Idol he has helped to sell more millions records than the Boss. So if the Boss deserve 100mil than he deserve 500mil. I kinda of agreed since the Boss is not famous in any other part of the world unlike AI. Also there hasnt been much news of the Boss or selling records in USA like he used to. Don't see his songs in the top of charts

Maybe at this point in time Simon Cowell may "seem" to be bigger, but why is he comparing himself with a singer? He is probably one of the biggest and most popular talent judges ever, but he is no mucisian. I just don't see the comparison.

Bruce Springsteen is an artist and Simon is a producer/promoter. two different things altogether. He is not bigger that the Boss ( who I love!) He's still popular just a different genre than what is hot and at the top of the charts these days.
