ok i want to know your opinnion and see if i made the best desision here.
my daughter is starting school this fall. we looked into a couple schools. she passed the test in the english school to skip pre-kindergarden and start at a higher grade. which would be better cause i think she'd be bored in pre k.
but my other option is this. i want her to learn french cause all my family is french, we've allready started working on it and where we live it's a necessaty. anyway. i've enrolled her in the french school where she'd start in pre k here instead of skipping a grade. i thought it would be challenging enough for her because it's in a language that she is just starting to learn and this way she gets to be with kids her age.
so is it better to skip a grade or go to a french school and stay with kids her age? what is your opinnion on this though. i know she'll be fine in french she's allready starting to pick it up, she can understand but not speak it yet accept for a few words, but she's going to a school where it's mostly english speaking kids going to french schools so she will be at the same lever with her french as everyone else.

i know she'll be busy enough in the french one. i don't think i'd really want to skip her ahead. i want her to interact with kids her age.

I think you did good. At least this way, she will learn at the same rate as everyone else around her, learning a second language at an early age is definitely an advantage.
