Oh...How cats love laser pointers...

Our cat and dog love to chase the laser pen, we have one of those green laser pens.

We do this with our dog. She goes nuts, and tries to bite that dot hard. But she won't touch it when it's on a person...she's pretty smart.

We have 4 cats and that is the only time we can get all 4 to play with each other together. We aim it on ones tail, then it gets pounced on.. they try to climb the walls, climb over each other.. its great. Good fun!

My best friends cat is hilarious when the laser pointer comes out. He will jump up the wall and try his darndest to get that dot. Before I had to give my dog away he liked the laser pointer too, and flashlights! He was just as bad as my best friends cat if not worse LoL.

They like things moving on the ground, and they tend to chase them alot for the fun of it.

oh man. laser pointers have to be the best cat toy ever invented by accident :)=) i just bought my cats a new one-i noticed they don't care for the shapes tho,just the dot. my black cat does some unbelievable jumps trying to get that dot.

Haha! I did that to my cat a couple of times before and we had so much fun. Cats are so playful really. They never get tired of that. I was the one who stopped doing that to my cat cause he's driving me nuts. haha! (",)

We don't have a laser pointer at our house although I've seen this done. We use a flashlight with our cat once in awhile and it's hilarios! He can chase that light around the house from sunup to sundown and never get tired of it,LOL!

My cats love this also. I can watch them play with the laser light for hours except they get mad after a while because they can never catch it. It is a great way to give your cat exercise.

Help! My kitten, Kai is addicted to the red light! He cries and cries all day, and then we have to hide it. Eventually it gets found again, and poof, we've got the addict back on our hands again. He adores it sooooo much! I actually bought the motorized version (the evil green plastic cone from hell) but he doesn't like it as much. It will only go in two sets of circles, and it moves too fast. My others cats like the handheld version well enough, but they don't sit at my feet screaming, "Mmmeeeow! Meow meowmeow! MEOWWWR!" *sigh*

Oh yes you are right there my cats go nuts over a laser pointer. Try one on a simese mine literally climbs the walls after it. It is too cool and look at their eyes after they have play with one for a bit they looked out to lunch the pupils are huge. Just be careful not to get it in there eyes it works on their eyes worst than on ours. I know i cant even look at the ligt it gives off it nauseates me for some reason. But have fun with your felines.

I always do this to my cats, its funny when i put it on the wall just out of their reach! A good way to get them to exercise to.

OMG! One of my cats, B, also loves the laser pointer! He's normally a very... lazy... cat. He just sits there and sleeps... or begs for (more) attention! But you get the laser pointer out and he's like a kitten again!:D:D

yeah that is fun they get tired of it after a few minutes now our old lazy cat won't even chase it
