I like tennis and I watch all the grand slam events. It looks as though everyone of them is dominated by Federer. I watched Wimbeldon this year and he dominated. I don't think he lost a single set! My question is, how long do you think Federer will be #1 and who do you think will take over the #1 spot?

Well i love Roger Federed and to me it looks like he will be number 1 until he gets retire ofcourse he is a human being he can loose on some odd occasion but all in all he is the best player the world of tennis ever seen, so until he retires other players stop dreaming of getting to the number 1 position and in the current circuit Blake isnt that young to succeed him nor will be Hewitt,Gonzalez or Roddick the most near competitor to him might be Nadal
but his fitness will decide whether he'll be there at the time of retirement of Roger or not maybe perhaps it will be some1 whois is still anonymous to all of us.

Roger Federer will be the top player in the history of men's tennis by the time he's done. he might already be there.
That being said, Federer will remain in the top spot in the rankings until he decides to hang it up. He's probably one of the strongest baseline players I've ever seen. Add to that some beautiful and graceful footwork and he might be the most composed athlete in the world.
Besides, his rivals can't consistenly beat him (Nadal, Roddick). He's too good; even the occasional loss won't do anything to his legacy.
