Kate's black finger nail polish?

What is up with Kate and her random black finger nail polish? At first I thought it was a one time "oops" but it's been on for awhile now. Is this some sort of fashion statement? It's sooo distracting...

You mean that she is wearing black nail polish only on certain fingers? This would seem silly. I have noticed that the new fashion statement seems to be wearing black nail polish, I see people on TV doing it all the time now, never on random fingers though?

yes, on random fingers or the same 2 fingers... I believe it's her index or ring finger and middle finger. Not sure if it's both hands or just one...check her out...

well, black nail polish was fashionable this winter, but i haven't noticed on kate!
