Any day Ronaldinho is better than Beckham as far as football skills are concerned. As far as football marketing is concerned Beckham is better. I think the only aspect of the game where Beckham is either equal or even better than Ronaldinho is free kicks. I think for the rest of it, Ronaldinho is a much better player.

Ronaldinho is much better in free kicks, what Beckham really masters is cross the ball and long passes.

Ronaldinho isn't that much of specialist when it comes to free kicks.
He's just a school boy and very lucky with what he has done. (very skill don't get me wrong) however beckham is far the better free kick tacker, as he can pass and score. ronaldinho only shoots, well he rarely passes. (beckhams also better when it comes to crossing, taking coner kicks and pens)
Ronald mcdonald is better orther things beckham is not. however least beckham can defend and tries to make ground.

Those are two great players we sahll find very difficult to compare-but Becham has history of tempers, he was a disapointment in the 1998 world cup debute-but we all know Ronaldinho has been a star footballer of the year a couple of times and it is here that he edges becks. But interms of celebrity status, Becks is in a class of his own-he is world class! Did you hear how much money Real madrid amassed in T-shirt sales when he moved to spain? That is Becks!

Ronaldhinio is a superb soccer player who scores goals for club and nation. David Beckham is a very good billboard and makes intelligent comments about how its not his fault (It's the grass mate and I'm still England Captain) when he cannot kick a ball straight at the goal......

well although both are great players but i will rate beckhem above ronaldinho for one basic reason that english football hasent produce star like him before where as brazil is known for start power in thier country

Ronaldinho would be better than beckham.. but i dont think u can compare them.. as Beckham is now a has been.. his career is almost over, n Ronaldinho has now come into the scene

I don't think its proper to compare the two of them. They usually dont play on the same parts of the field, Ronaldinho being up front and Beckham at midfield. So its kinda unfair to compare them when they play the same positions in a game. Both are good football players in their respective positions though.

It will surely be ronaldinho , beckham sometimes can't even dribble past a defender . whereas ronaldhino can dribble past the whole team laugh out loud

it is difficult to compare two great players.
everyone has his own specility.Beckhem is expert in taking free kicks while ronaldinho is superb in ball control and passing.however both the players are not performing up to their limit.

I don't think there is a basis for comparison. Ronaldinho is light years in front of Beckham. Beckham is only good for free kicks and corners, which Ronaldinho does as good, if not better. However, Ronaldinho is an unbelievable field player as well and does wonders with the ball.

Beckham only knows how to take free kicks and crosses.The only thing Ronaldinho can't do is goalkeeping.Ronaldinho is far better than Beckham.

beckham is the past story now a days and ronaldinho is the current star of the world of football, Beckham is now not in the list of top ones.i too like ronaldinho now a days as beckham performances had decreased a lot and ronaldinho has improved his performances, beckham is more or less busy in controversies rather than football,and i guess he is enjoying that.

i guess david beckham is pretty much overrated and popular (being victoria adams' husband helps a lot here). he's a sport icon in both england and the world, but just recieves so much publicity. ronaldinho on the other hand is a pure football player. he's got skills better than anybody else we've seen in the field. accuracy wise, i'd go for beckham, but for overall performance, ronaldinho is the man

beckham one of the best player on world he have a gold right leg when he awake he absoloutly change all of the match... and ronaldinho is wonderful player but beckham play's just for long play's and ronaldinho use his fitness.. so i think ronaldinho is better than beckham... but these days we cant say that ronaldinho better than any player :S
