Who will win the NBA championship this year?

More than half way through the NBA season now, who do you think will win the NBA championship this year? The playoffs are coming really soon. I will go with the Mavs this year.

Phoenix Suns, is the only right answer to this question. When you have the reigning MVP and one of the best Defensive players in Shawn Marion you really cant go wrong. Do not forget about Amare Stoudemire who can tear up the paint, if he isn't guarded. Then you have Raja Bell who can score plenty of points, and so can Leandro Barbosa. I said MVP up a little bit, but lets talk about him. He can walk on anyones team, and assist like crazy, which is nothing new. They might not have the best defense, but they do have the best offense with there constant running back and forth. They also are one of the leading teams in 3 pointers because they shoot probably close to 50 a game easy, if not more. But, when you have some of the best shooters, why not? Give Nash the Ball, and he will lead the Suns to victory, with the help of his fellow teammates of course.

i think the only drawback the suns have is their poor team defense. raja bell, shawn marion and amare stoudemire are good defensive players individually but the suns totally play mediocre defense. if they cant do anything about it in the playoffs, they might find a hard time especially against teams like dallas and san antonio
