Does anyone have a good meat marinade recipe for steak? Also, does anyone know what the Mexican restaurants marinate their beef in? Its real tender and has a really good flavor on the quesadillas. I am trying to find something similar to use at home. Any ideas anyone?

I have a meat marinade for you. Mix soy sauce, a splash of worchestershire, some Colgin liquid smoke, (more depending on the level of smoky flavor you want), pepper, garlic and onion powder, and let soak into steak over night.

Sorry I don't know what the mexican restauarants use. That they seem to keep to themselves. For myself when I go to marinate meat I usually just buy a cheap bottle of Italian Dressing. I poke some holes in the meat and then put it in to soak. I have made my own but usually when I do I use wistershire (spelling) sauce, some spiced rum, vidalia onion dressing, garlic, paparika and parsley. That works out well for me.
