Nuclear family or Joint family

i always prefer joint family.joint family alone will teach you how to tolerate people. in joint family we get lots of love and affection from each of them when compared to nuclear family.in nuclear family we get only father's and mother's love but in case of joint family we learn many things from our grand fa's and grand ma's about how to adjust with people.and aiso we learn about their past life and their experiences that will help you in many aspects...

i think its all depends on your on personality and background. For me joint family is better in such away that it bonds the family together.the parents would act as a mentor to their grandchildren and this would bonds the family together

I feel that both nuclear and joint families have their pros and cons. In joint families you are used to having someone or other around you and in times of illness or festivals having people around is very helpful. But, more people also usually means more mouths and then there are issues like sibling fights, rumours and bad mouthing. All these are avoided on nuclear families, but then these families are usually cut off from the society and tend to live within themselves. During festivities and illness lack of people around feels real bad. Cheers! Ram
