Is the decision to rest Kumble and Pathan right?

I saw it in the news that today in the India-Bangladesh match, Kumble and Pathan will not play as they are rested. Do you think this decision was right keeping in mind that these will be key players for us and Pathan especially needs some match practise?

I think the final playing eleven might still need to be decided. But, in case Pathan has been rested, then I feel that it is not good. Simply because he has been doing badly off late and against minnows Bangladesh, this could have been a good chance for him to get his form and confidence back. As far as Anil is concerned, I think that this would not make much of an impact on him and he should be fine.
Cheers!

Thanks for the response. I definitely saw it in the news and I think it is what will happen. India will rest Pathan and Kumble and I agree to you that Kumble will be fine anyways. He is class act and India's leading wicket taker and has a lot of tricks and confidence in him. Thanks again. :)

well leaving out kumble had made them to pay with this match seeing the way ball was turning and sehwag geting wickets i think kumble was really missedand i hope that they would not do this mistake again if they wish to stay alive in cup and i think harbajan is out of gear now for long he is just contaning not going for wickets so he can be rested
